I am giving this item four stars ONLY because I am really picky about appearance, it certainly is not the fault of this company that I decided to put a skin on my Macbook Pro! With that said, the Macbook Pro is a beautiful machine and although this cover does not look bad, it is not as nice to look at as the Macbook with out it.

Installation: Could not be easier, literally takes 5 minutes max. Simple and straight forward, I did not read the instructions and you wont have to either.

Fit: SUPERB! This skin fits like a glove in every way and allows the screen to open and close flawlessly with no issues. For me there is an added benefit as well. Because the skin wraps around the edge bottom of the screen, it keeps the screen from opening too far back. This is actually really handy for me. It can only open a few degrees past 90 degrees which is perfect.

Features: The bottom part of the skin has two pivots that can retract to elevate the laptop. I personally don’t see using this feature, but it is a good thought. The front foam feet make the laptop slide a bit more than the stock rubber feet. I plan to replace with a similar rubber to the stock feet and that cost is minimal. I will likely add two rubber feet in the rear as well.

Overall: This clear skin does everything it advertises and for .00 you cannot ask for more.

Great case for protecting alumninum macbooks - Kaneonapua - Springfield, MA
The new unibody Macbooks seem to scratch a lot easier than the old ones did. I recommend this case for protecting the computers good looks. The case just snaps on and it covers the outer surface of the laptop. The hard shell also gives the computer some additional protections. I like the clear since the original finish looks good with it.
